Made these last weekend (I’d bought myself the wilfa waffle iron at Christmas - it’s fab) and they tasted excellent. Will be making again soon! Have with Norwegian brown cheese if you can find it

What kind of cardamom do you use in this? Is it great or black and is it from seed only or the whole pod ground to powder? I usually make yeasted waffles- the kind that sort of ferment over night.
