Hi Ed! I could only find crystallized ginger, but you ask for the sirop too. Is there a substitute for it?

Hey Maricel crystallised ginger will work fine, and don’t worry about the syrup you can just leave it out

Is cornflour the same as cornstarch in the US? Also can you make this without either ginger component?
